About Us:

Pear Tree Consignment was started with a simple goal: To help women love the clothes in their closet, so they can walk out the door each day feeling comfortable, confident and fabulous. With this in mind, we keep a well-curated selection of apparel, handbags and accessories that are new or gently loved, in-season, and generally 50-80% off retail. Our selection changes daily so check back often for new finds. And if you have items in your closet that aren't working for you, consider consigning them with us so that you too can "love the items in your closet". We promote "slow fashion" as opposed to "fast fashion" by extending the lifespan of quality items.

Please see SAMPLE list below of brands (this list is not at all exclusive, it's just meant to be guidance for the types of brands our customers are looking for). If you have items that fit into those categories, please email us directly at christine@peartreeconsignment.com to discuss intake procedure.
Our customers love boutique and better-label brands, as well as luxury pieces.
Items must be clean, free of any flaws, in current style or classic designer pieces. We prefer them folded in a bag, box or tote, or on hangers. No garbage bags please.
We do not generally take items from Kohls, Old Navy, H&M, or other fast-fashion manufacturers, and we are unable to accept outdated styles. We also do not have a need for career wear such as suits, trousers and career skirts
Seasonal intake as follows: Winter: Oct-Jan, Spring: Feb-April, Summer: May-July, Fall: August-Sept.

Terms for Consignment:

Prices will be set by Pear Tree Consignment. We will ask the highest possible price for your items, and they may be marked down 20-50% to facilitate sales after 30 days. Items are kept on sales floor for 8 weeks. Consignor receives 40% of the sale price. Consignors can pick up a check at the store after 8 weeks or accrue store credit and use it anytime.
Unsold items priced above $40 that do not sell after 8 weeks may be picked up at the store. If these items are not picked up after 14 days of their expiration they will be donated to charity or become property of the store. Unsold items priced below $40 that do not sell are not eligible for pickup and will automatically be donated. We support local organizations such as The Assistance League, Pathways for Women and Dress for Success with your donations.
